Graystone Tractor Services offers specialty finish mowing services for steep and difficult terrain. Using our tractor mounted finish mower, we can mow
most steep grades up to 35%-40% quickly and easily. If you have a grassed area that is difficult or impossible to mow with a
standard mower, we can help you tame it quickly and easily.
We also offer finish mowing services for larger properties with grass taller than standard mowers can handle. We can mow grass up to 3 feet high with our finish mower.
Taller grass will require our field mower attachment.
Many of the areas that we mow for customers are very steep areas, in excess of 20 degree grades, or areas where the grass is very tall or thick, which can overwhelm the capability of most residential mowers. Many difficult areas can be cut using our tractor mounted mower. For more exteme areas, we also have our field mower attachment, which is capable or mowing grass up to 6 feet high.
We offer our mowing services at an hourly flat rate or if you prefer, we can give you a quote based on the size of your area, the slope of the area (heavily sloped areas are slower to mow) and the height of the grass or vegetation. (very tall grass is slower to mow).

Our machine requires a minimum opening of 5 feet in any fences or opening between buildings. Please remove any debris or objects in the path of the mow prior to our arrival.
We need to be away of any hidden obstacles such as large rocks or stumps or holes before we mow to avoid damaging our equipment. For best results, please walk the property and mark or flag obstacles prior to our arrival.
We can mow hills up to 35% provided that the hill can be approached at a near 90% angle. Very steep hills cannot be side-mowed and must be approached straight up and straight down.
