Graystone Tractor Services is a well experienced, fully licensed, bonded and insured tractor service company.
We are experienced in small to medium sized residential landscape jobs that will make quick work of your difficult projects with affordable tractor work services. Our wide range of services covers the scope of many common landscape improvements from field and brush mowing, plowing, rototilling, stump grinding, trenching, dirt/gravel/beauty bark installations to stump grinding and gravel driveway and RV parking pads and more.
We are based on Camano Island, and service North-Western Washington, including Island County, Snohomish County, Skagit County, Whatcom County, King County, San Juan, Jefferson County, Kitsap and Clallum counties.

About Us

Our mission is to offer cost effective residential tractor services. Our services fill the void between doing the work yourself and hiring a much more expensive excavating company. We are based on Camano Island, WA but service Island, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, King, San Juan, Jefferson and Clallum Counties.

Our compact tractors are very versatile and has a variety of implements to handle most residential jobs, including box blade, land plane, middlebuster, plow, field & brush mower, rototiller, landscape rake. Additionally, we have stump grinding equipment that makes quick work of most stumps up to 7 feet in diameter, as well as a mini trencher, capable of trenching a 4" wide trench, up to 36" deep. These are perfectly suited for french drain installation, lawn irrigation and utility conduit installations.

Our full line of services include permanent brush removal, light land clearing, brush and field mowing, stump grinding, trenching, lot leveling, rototilling, field plowing, debris cleanup, dirt and gravel work, driveway grading and maintenance, garden preparation, RV pads, new gravel driveways, and more.

Affordable pricing

We offer free quotes on all jobs so you will know the cost before we do the job. Most of our services are priced at a reasonable flat rate ranging from $110-140 per hour depending on service performed and machine used, plus a one time travel charge for distant communities, no hidden costs or fees. Larger jobs are usually priced with fixed cost pricing. Stump grinding services are priced based on stump size and accessibility. (Areas on San Juan Islands/Olympic Pennisula subject to ferry expenses.)

Flexible services

Our services are affordable and more cost effective than excavation companies. Additionally most excavation companies will not consider many smaller jobs. We also handle jobs that many landscape companies do not handle, such as field mowing and brush removal. Because we offer a wide range of residential services, we can take a lot of the work out of landscaping your yard.

Our Tractor Equipment

We use 2 sizes of compact tractors for our jobs. Both are adequately sized for the work we do. Our smaller compact tractor is a diesel powered 3 cylinder kubota with a front end loader and mid-mount mower. Our larger tractor is a 40hp, 4 cylinder diesel tractor with a front end loader. Our available attachments include box blade, land plane, 48" field/brush mower, 60" field/brush mower, flat blade, landscape rake, 50" rototiller, single moldboard plow.

Kubota B-7100

Our small 3 cylinder diesel compact tractor is a highly capable workhorse, best suited for small to medium jobs. Its size and versilility allows it to fit in smaller spaces, able to fit through a 5' gate. This tractor is used for difficult brush removal, small to medium sized driveways, gravel and dirt work, small to medium sized rototilling jobs, small to medium lot leveling jobs and smaller field/brush mowing jobs. At 1600lbs, this tractor is also suitable for limited work on septic fields, such as grading and brush removal.

Kubota LX-4020

Our larger 4 cylinder, 40hp diesel compact tractor is best suited to medium to larger jobs, such as larger field mowing jobs, new driveway/RV pad construction, larger dirt/gravel jobs and larger leveling jobs. Its heated/air-conditioned cab allows for comfortable work in adverse weather. The larger bucket and field mower, combined with larger size and horsepower make for faster work.

Our Stump Grinding Equipment

Our primary stump grinding machine is a Barreto 30hp tracked machine that can traverse most difficult and challenging terrain. Our stump grinder can fit through openings and gates as narrow as 37" and can grind stumps up to 10-12" below grade.

Barreto 30SG

Our primary stump grinder is a 30hp Barreto tracked machine, capable of quick and efficient work. We have dispatched stumps up to 7 feet wide with this machine.

Our Trenching Equipment

Our primary trenching machine is a Barreto 20hp tracked machine that can traverse most difficult and challenging terrain. Our trencher can fit through openings and gates as narrow as 36" and can trench 4" wide and up to 36" deep. Our trencher is a perfect choice for french drain installations, utility conduits and lawn irrigation installs.
